I just found out the name of my Representative in my district, and the two senators in my state.
Why do I give a shit about this, you ask? After taking Political Systems, I realized my vote in the National Election does not matter as much as my vote locally. First of all, where do these candidates come from? The Senate. (Senator Barack Obama, Senator John McCain. Take a hint) So the way I see it, if I watch my Senators, my vote can eliminate potential candidates that I would not want in Office. If an immoral somebody tries to run in my state, I would vote for the more moral person.
I'd probably encourage everyone else to do the same.
That's how most people get here, I think.
